ANC 2E Chair and CAG Submit Letter to Mayor Bowser Regarding Porous Flexible Pavement in Georgetown

In response to the District Department of Transportation's (DDOT) continued installation of Porous Flexible Pavement (PFP) on Georgetown's sidewalks after ANC 2E adopted a resolution expressing significant concerns regarding the PFP installation, today ANC 2E Chair Rick Murphy and Citizens Association of Georgetown (CAG) President Tara Sakraida Parker submitted a letter to Mayor Bowser. The letter urges the Mayor to instruct DDOT to pause the PFP installation so that the legality of the installation can be determined and a meaningful community discussion can take place.
