ANC 2E Chair Delivers Testimony Regarding the Reopen Washington DC Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Act

On Monday, May 10th, 2021, ANC 2E Chair Rick Murphy delivered testimony regarding the Reopen Washington DC Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Amendment Act of 2021 during a hearing on the bill held by the DC Council's Committee on Business and Economic Development. Chair Murphy's testimony applauded the goals of the bill but also raised several neighborhood concerns, especially related to the bill's provisions regarding streateries and the tavern license cap in Georgetown.
